We use precise temperature sensors that allow contactless temperature measurement,<\/strong> supplemented by detailed thermal images. With their high sensitivity, even temperature differences as small as 50 mK become visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The connection and mounting of the camera is very convenient for you: Different mounting brackets allow easy mounting. The camera is connected via a single cable with an industrial connector at the camera housing. Furthermore, additional cooling of the camera is generally not required: The camera can cool itself via its solid aluminum housing (depending on the ambient conditions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, the compact design<\/strong> of the camera allows you to use the system where only limited mounting space is available. With dimensions of only 100 x 124 x 180 mm, the camera housing is surprisingly compact, even though it simultaneously serves as a cooling housing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\nAnalysis methods<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Our thermography system has a wide range of analysis methods available that allow the system to be adapted to your needs. First, pre-processing methods remove image noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Subsequently, differential methods can be used. These use, for example, the first thermal image of a measurement as a reference image and work with a differential image for the rest of the measurement. In this way, we can reliably measure products with strongly deviating base temperatures <\/strong>zuverl\u00e4ssig messen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With our automated object detection and counting<\/strong> we can detect both colder and warmer areas. During detection, we can additionally work with absolute, relative or adaptive thresholds.<\/strong> Thus, here too, no readjustment is necessary for different products. The system simply adjusts itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Objects can be filtered in post-processing to eliminate false detections. In this case, relative and absolute size filters help you to achieve extremely reliable detection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Often, more than one product or product variant is produced on a production line. For this reason, our software flexibly allows to create any number of variants, which are stored internally in a database. Each variant is stored in an internal database together with a name, preview image as well as all configured measurement windows. Later, it can be conveniently reloaded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Measuring regions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Each measuring region is created with a name. This enables better recognition by the operator. When creating a measuring window the software automatically detects,<\/strong>how many objects are in the measuring range and have to be analyzed. Of course, this can be adjusted afterwards, if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, different shapes<\/strong> of measuring regions can be defined, for example rectangles or ellipses. The measuring areas are variable in size <\/strong>and can be rotated at any angle. This means that even measurement regions that are difficult to isolate can be analyzed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Measuring process<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
For some measurement applications, the product must first be heated up. This is the case, for example, with the thermographic analysis of heating conductors on the rear windows of automobiles. The heat conductors of the rear window are first heated electrically in order to be able to thermally lift themselves from the glass. Unfortunately, conventional measurement systems require that the heating process takes place before the measurement starts. The heating time is overestimated and is therefore usually significantly longer than necessary - resulting in higher costs, and energy is expensive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cost savings of up to 83%<\/h5>\n\n\n\n
Our system takes a different approach: it starts the measurement at the same time as the heating process. While the heating conductors of the rear window heat up, measurements are taken continuously. As soon as a measurement is successful, the heating process is stopped and the measurement result is output. Only if the product is faulty the heating is continued up to a preset maximum measuring time to exclude false detections. This saves you costs and protects the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Archiving of measurement results<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Each measurement is automatically archived in detail in an SQL database. Everything from measurement time and result, to product name and measurement duration, to a thermographic image of the measurement is stored. And thanks to the efficient storage of the data, up to 8 million measurements can be archived on 1 TB of hard disk space without having to delete just one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
